Low Voltage Qualified Training Course (50V to 600V)
The Low Voltage Qualified training delivered by QEST is based upon NFPA 70E 2018 version.
The Qualified Electrical Safety Training provided Low Voltage Qualified course (based upon NFPA 70E and OSHA) is approved by the Kansas Electrical Continuing Education Review Committee for continuing education required for electrical licensing. The Low Voltage Qualified training is approved for 8 hours Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
Low Voltage Qualified Course Attendees Will Learn:
- Table-based Hazard Assessments Using NFPA 70E
- NFPA 70E practical electrical safety compliance in the workplace
- Selection of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) based on the recommendations from the NFPA 70E tables
- NEC, NESC, NFPA 70E and OSHA standards differences
- Do’s and Don’ts of shock and electric arc hazards for workers who are exposed
- Clothing and PPE selection standards
- ATPV and EBT arc ratings and how they are applied
- Flame resistant (FR), Arc-rated (AR) and other shock resistant clothing PPE ins and outs
