About Qualified Electrical Safety Training (QEST)

QEST is led by a CESP Certified Electrician John Young QEST offers specialized training for workers, supervisors, and management related to NFPA 70E – Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. This standard by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) is the “consensus standard” cited by OSHA for work practice compliance with their CFR 1910 Subpart S (General Industry) and CFR 1926 Subpart K (Construction). Retraining is required by the standard at intervals not exceeding 3 years.

35+ years in the electrical trade as an apprentice, journeyman, master electrician. Experienced control systems designer, PLC programmer, and electrical contracting business owner.
